The Race

SUNDAY, MARCH 25, 2018, 2:00 PM

Back for its 8th running, the Morningside Mile is bigger and better than ever! It’s still Atlanta’s only competitive one-mile race, but this year all the runners will be chip timed—it’s included in your registration. And the race should be even more fun, as the course races along gently sloped North Highland from the start near the YWCA to Morningside Village’s after party!

There’s still a place for everyone to run from serious competitors to casual runners, to kids and families with jog strollers. NEW FOR 2018, the Just For Fun Half-Mile. Designed for kids 10 and younger accompanied by an adult guardian it’s open to walkers, strollers, bikers, scooters and pets. Decorate your ride for spring and get ready to follow the police motorcycle from N. Highland/Amsterdam to launch the ROCK THE BLOCK party.
